Historically we have placed a lot of emphasis on training the “goers”, as we should. But what about the “senders”? Senders U is designed specifically for those who are called to go by sending. The outline of this training is adapted from a phrase in the US Marine Corps training manual, “Beans, Bullets, and Bandages”.

Beans – What training and supplies do goers need to be most effective? Should senders be similarly equipped?

Bullets – Not real bullets, of course! But, the enemy is real. So, how do we develop a wartime mentality and make strategic decisions in this battle we’re waging? How do we pray for our “troops” and the unreached among which they are working according to the heart and mind of God?

Bandages – How do we take care of one another – goers and senders alike – so we will all thrive? How do we promote health and strength for body, mind and soul? How can we properly respond when one of our own is wounded?

Cost per individual is $25/ person.  Dinner Friday and snacks on Saturday are provided.
