CATALYZE GLOBAL

A message from the Executive Director:

I’m thrilled to share with you that our organization has a new name. From here on out, we will proudly operate under the name Catalyze Global!

Both ‘catalyze’ and ‘global’ have been an essential part of our identity since our creation. Catalyze has been the name of our core church planting training for over 5 years. It describes what we want to see happening around the world: that those we train and send will be catalysts – the hidden agents that spark the birth of the Kingdom of God into Jesus communities. Global describes the scope of our work… more than that, the scope of the love of God!

We are grateful for the people who have chosen to pray, get trained, go, volunteer, and work with our organization since its establishment in 2003. We thank Jesus for those who know Him because of those who went where Jesus was not yet known. We continue to sense God’s blessing & calling to mobilize and send people to make disciples and train leaders to ignite Jesus movements around the world.

This year, our organization came to a point where a change was required. We had to remove ourselves from a network with external leadership that was making choices we did not agree with, and under whose leadership we could no longer remain. I’m proud of the hard choices our Board made to care for our people. For many years, the similar names between our organization and our network leader’s organization made it difficult for people to distinguish between the two. Since we have stepped away, this new name helps bring clarity and supports our unique identities.

As we step forward as Catalyze Global, we joyfully posture ourselves as a movement led by Jesus, shaped by the Holy Spirit, and multiplied through simple obedience. We will champion the practices of abiding with Jesus, caring for one another, and igniting movements to Jesus. We anticipate radical collaboration because we know that it will take many to reach all the peoples who do not yet know Jesus. Our mission remains: to make disciples and train leaders to ignite church planting movements among the neglected peoples on the earth.

Regarding your own experience with our organization, you will find our core identity and people remain. In the coming days, you’ll notice an updated logo, website, and email addresses, but our services and programs will continue to align with our core mission.

As I look to the future, I joyfully envision the day when every nation, tribe and tongue will be gathered around the throne worshipping Jesus! And some of them will be there because of Jesus’ kindness to use people serving and partnering with Catalyze Global in the establishment of His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Warmly,
